March Madness of Marketing

Add these elements to your marketing brackets for a successful season

It’s time for March Madness. Lots of people have fun putting brackets together of college teams they support and have confidence in to do well in college basketball playoffs. We’re putting together a set of skills for our Marketing March Madness to help you have a successful season promoting your product or service.

Sentimental storytelling and informative text

It adds personality and depth to your company. Share details of your brand or product with readers, in addition to the backstory on how your company came to be. People love a good story, and hearing how you got to wear you are can inspire them to support your items and services. Wording is the defense, giving background to your ad’s imagery. While it might not be the first thing people look at, text in advertisements is important to help your audience know exactly what you have to offer.

Clean Design
Strong design of promotional material enhances your product or service, but does not distract. Clean design is a team captain, helping everyone keep their head in the game. Opting for clean layouts, featuring clear focal points and simple, uniform font styles, helps your audience or customer understand what your company can offer them more quickly. Since people’s attention spans now tend to be shorter, a good design is key to grabbing their attention before they scroll to the next thing.

Strong images or video

Like clean design, clear, impactful photographs or hi-res video will attract your audience and is crucial to a successful marketing campaign plan. Opposite of text, imagery shows what you offer, and can evoke a variety of feelings. These are the forwards on your team. They lead good advertisements and attract attention.
