Five tips for standout social media posts

So, you’ve got that Facebook and Instagram page set up, but does it feel like no one is paying attention to your posts? Check out these five tips to…

Engage with your audience using words that draw them in
Commanding, confident wordage is key to attracting scrollers to your brand through posts. Use diction that encourages them to act, or gets them thinking.

Use eye-catching, vibrant images with a clear subject
Pictures are a huge part of a successful social media post. It’s the first thing that gets scrollers’ attention, so make sure it’s something that stops them and leads them to read what you have to say.

Get people talking in the comments section
A great way to boost the amount of eyes on your posts is by asking a question that people can answer in the comments. Have them tag a friend, or give their thoughts, to increase exposure. More comments also lead to more people seeing posts with the current algorithm, so make sure to keep the convo going.

Create consistent, uniform posts
Figure out your brand’s aesthetic, then stay in character. People will remember and return to your brand if you keep things simple and visually streamlined. This includes editing all of your photos in the same way, and if you create a hashtag, use it each time so people can use it to find your posts.

Make a schedule so people have an idea of what to look for
Offer a discount on Fridays. Take a poll on Mondays. And schedule your posts at the same time each day — based on your analytics and when you get the most views or interactions. Whatever your ideas are, if you stick to a schedule, you’ll find more success.
